RebelSat UNLV was founded on inspiring students in the field of aerospace engineering at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. Currently, our team is focused on the development of the RebelSat-1 spacecraft. We are developing novel on-orbit maneuvering techniques to aid in the progression of space technology development and the advancement of space exploration.
WEBSITE DESIGNER
We are seeking a talented website developer with proficiency in Wix and EditorX platforms to join our team. As a developer, you will be responsible for designing our platform, rebelsat.com. You will be in charge of designing a clean and relevant look to our homepage, as well as editing information on the website as needed.
RESPONSIBILITIES:

Design and create websites using Wix and EditorX platforms, ensuring they meet RebelSat’s requirements and specifications

Use your creative skills to develop visually appealing and user-friendly website layouts, graphics, and animations
REQUIREMENTS:
-
Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree as a Nevada System of Higher Education (NSHE) student.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
-
Proven experience as a website designer, with a strong portfolio of previous work

Proficiency in Wix and EditorX platforms

Strong skills in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript

Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with team members and clients

Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

Ability to work weekdays and weekends as necessary (flexible).

Export control course clearance via CITI Program.
ITAR/EAR REQUIREMENTS:
To conform to U.S. Government space technology export regulations, including the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and Export Administration Regulations (EAR) you must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.
