The software subsystem is the brain of the RebelSat-1 spacecraft, responsible for controlling and monitoring all of its systems. It enables real-time data collection, fault-tolerant architecture, and autonomous operations, allowing the spacecraft to operate safely in space.

It enables real-time telemetry and command uplink/downlink, allowing the mission team to monitor and control the spacecraft remotely from Earth.
