SOFTWARE
OVERVIEW
The software subsystem is the brain of the RebelSat-1 spacecraft, responsible for controlling and monitoring all of its systems. It enables real-time data collection, fault-tolerant architecture, and autonomous operations, allowing the spacecraft to operate safely in space.
The software subsystem is designed with a modular architecture that allows for easy upgrades and modifications. It features a fault-tolerant design that can detect and correct errors in real-time, ensuring the spacecraft stays safe and on course at all times. The software subsystem also provides an intuitive user interface that allows mission operators to monitor the spacecraft's health and status, as well as send commands to the spacecraft as needed.
In addition to controlling the spacecraft's hardware, the software subsystem is also responsible for managing the communication between the spacecraft and ground stations. It enables real-time telemetry and command uplink/downlink, allowing the mission team to monitor and control the spacecraft remotely from Earth.
