RebelSat UNLV was founded on inspiring students in the field of aerospace engineering at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. Currently, our team is focused on the development of the RebelSat-1 spacecraft. We are developing novel on-orbit maneuvering techniques to aid in the progression of space technology development and the advancement of space exploration.
SOCIAL MEDIA COORDINATOR
We are seeking a creative and driven Social Media Coordinator to manage our company's online presence and engagement on various social media platforms. The Social Media Coordinator will be responsible for creating engaging content, managing social media campaigns, and monitoring social media channels to increase brand awareness, improve marketing efforts, and drive engagement.
RESPONSIBILITIES:

Collaborate with the marketing team to develop visual concepts and designs that align with our brand identity and messaging

Create visually appealing and engaging graphics, illustrations, and multimedia content for various channels, including digital, print, and social media

Ensure all designs are in line with brand guidelines and standards

Work with internal stakeholders to understand their design needs and requirements, and provide creative solutions

Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, ensuring they are completed within deadlines

Stay up-to-date with the latest design trends, tools, and technologies to continuously improve the quality of our designs

Maintain an organized library of design assets and templates for reuse
REQUIREMENTS:
-
Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree as a Nevada System of Higher Education (NSHE) student.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
-
2+ years of experience in graphic design, preferably in a marketing or communication role

Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign

Strong design portfolio demonstrating creativity, attention to detail, and ability to adapt to various styles and mediums

Experience designing for digital, print, and social media platforms

Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and communicate design concepts effectively

Understanding of design principles, color theory, and typography

Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and web design is a plus
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

Ability to work weekdays and weekends as necessary (flexible).

Export control course clearance via CITI Program.
ITAR/EAR REQUIREMENTS:

To conform to U.S. Government space technology export regulations, including the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and Export Administration Regulations (EAR) you must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.
