RebelSat UNLV was founded on inspiring students in the field of aerospace engineering at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. Currently, our team is focused on the development of the RebelSat-1 spacecraft. We are developing novel on-orbit maneuvering techniques to aid in the progression of space technology development and the advancement of space exploration.
RECRUITER
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Recruiter to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting phone screen interviews with potential candidates and determining whether they are a good fit for the team. As a Recruiter, you will play a critical role in identifying top talent and ensuring a smooth and efficient recruitment process.
RESPONSIBILITIES:

Screen resumes and applications, conduct phone interviews, and schedule interviews with necessary individuals.

Conduct interviews with candidates, assess their skills and qualifications, and make recommendations to engineers on the team.

Coordinate the onboarding process for new hires, and ensure that all required paperwork is completed.
REQUIREMENTS:

Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree as a Nevada System of Higher Education (NSHE) student.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Knowledge of engineering and/or intern hiring practices and regulations

Passion for identifying top talent and promoting diversity and inclusion in the workplace

Passion for aerospace
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

Ability to work weekdays and weekends as necessary (flexible).

Export control course clearance via CITI Program.
ITAR/EAR REQUIREMENTS:
To conform to U.S. Government space technology export regulations, including the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and Export Administration Regulations (EAR) you must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.
