Outside of all the engineering, the Operations team ensures that our program stays on track in three primary areas: marketing, recruiting, and funding.

MARKETING

LOGOS, SOCIAL MEDIA, WEBSITE, FLYERS, NEWSLETTERS

In addition to supporting the engineering effort, the Operations team is laser-focused on supporting the secondary mission of our program: education. Communicating our initiative is important to us as much as it is important to you. Spreading awareness of spacecraft development in Southern Nevada is required in order to grow the space sector presence in the area. Our team is responsible for maintaining all of our social media platforms, generating graphic design and photography for outreach from our newsletters to our website, and coordinating events from setup, equipment tracking, venue logistics, and more.

RECRUITING

WE PROCURE BEST TALENT

RebelSat UNLV has been growing substantially since its inception, seeing talent from all walks of life, discipline, and experience. The recruiting team is in charge of ensuring RebelSat preserves its prestige by bringing in candidates that exhibit high talent and inspiration to advance the cause of space development. We incorporate an onboarding process which mimics what is standard in the new space industry including pre-screening, interviews, and later stages as needed.

FUNDING

CASH IN, CASH OUT

Our project is unlike most other engineering projects a college student would encounter, especially on the order of magnitude of funding to make our feats achievable. We work closely with university and industry partners to secure funding that goes towards the research and development of our spacecraft. For a list of our current and past supporters, check out our [] page.
