RebelSat UNLV was founded on inspiring students in the field of aerospace engineering at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. Currently, our team is focused on the development of the RebelSat-1 spacecraft. We are developing novel on-orbit maneuvering techniques to aid in the progression of space technology development and the advancement of space exploration.


RebelSat is looking for students to design tertiary mission-critical components for engineering, test, and launch. Candidates would primarily work with the avionics team to own design and development responsibilities over complex electrical systems.


  • Develop and implement marketing strategies to increase brand awareness and increase student participation.

  • Manage a team of marketing folks in the organization, who are in charge of smaller marketing tasks.

  • Oversee the creation and execution of marketing campaigns, including advertising, promotions, events, and digital marketing.

  • Ensure all marketing efforts are in compliance with legal and ethical standards.


  • Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree as a Nevada System of Higher Education (NSHE) student.


  • Proven ability to manage and mentor a team.

  • Strong analytical skills, ideally with experience in market research and data analysis.

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.


  • Ability to work weekdays and weekends as necessary (flexible).

  • Export control course clearance via CITI Program.


To conform to U.S. Government space technology export regulations, including the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and Export Administration Regulations (EAR) you must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.
